Skip Liepke’s work makes me happy. Since first discovering it years ago, it has made me want to paint recklessly, with big wet wads of colour, because at the end of the day, character beats photo-realistic control every time. Moving from the Impressionists through Jenny Saville to reach a most edible and inspiring destination.

Furniture supplier Herman Miller have released a limited edition Eames Lounge Chair onto the Asian market. Limited to just 100 pieces, the all black version features black plywood framing and black premium leather.

First launched in 1956 the chair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames and was the furniture company’s first entry into the high-end market.
